Commercial Water Damage in Reading Basement Needs Controlled Demo

Commercial water damage occurred in this Reading basement resulting in a large amount of removal and disposal of the building materials. The ceiling tiles deteriorated and the techs took them down as they could fall and pose a safety hazard. The thick pile carpet took on a significant amount of water and due to seepage underneath, required removal so the techs could dry the slab concrete underneath. As seen in the After Photo, the techs removed the carpet, walls and ceiling tiles. Then, they deployed multiple air movers pointed upward to encourage embedded moisture in the walls and ceiling to come to the service where it got captured by the dehumidification equipment.
